Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Green Acre Pizza Bar (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our venue, use this website, book a table or place an order, how we use that information, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that we need in order to serve you. That usually includes:

  • Your name, email address and phone number when you make a booking, place an order or send us an enquiry.
  • Booking details such as date, time, party size, seating preferences, accessibility requirements and any dietary or allergy information you choose to give us.
  • Order details such as the items ordered, pick-up or delivery address and order notes.
  • Catering and function enquiries, including event details and the contact information you provide.
  • Technical information collected automatically when you browse this website, such as your device type, browser, approximate location and the pages you view.

We do not collect or store your full credit card or debit card details. Payments are processed by our ordering and payment providers on their own secure systems.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Confirm, manage and remind you about your reservation or order.
  • Prepare food and drink that meets your dietary and allergy requirements.
  • Respond to enquiries about catering, functions, feedback or employment.
  • Quote for and deliver catering and private event services.
  • Improve our menu, service and website, and understand how our pages are used.
  • Send you news, offers and weekly specials — only where you have asked to receive them.

You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages such as a booking confirmation.

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working — for example, remembering your booking form progress. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are popular and where visitors have trouble.

We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, time on page, referring website and a de-identified approximation of your location. This information is aggregated and is not used by us to identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies through your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies will not stop you from using this site.

Third Parties We Share Information With

We use trusted third party platforms to take bookings, take orders and collect enquiries. When you use one of these services, the information you enter is handled by that provider under its own privacy policy as well as this one:

  • OpenTable — table reservations made through our booking widget.
  • HungryHungry — online food and drink ordering, pick-up and delivery.
  • Mr Yum — in-venue QR code menu and table ordering.
  • Fillout — catering, function and general enquiry forms.
  • Google Analytics — website usage measurement.

We may also disclose personal information to our payment processors, our IT and email providers, and to professional advisers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes. Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information to a comparable standard.

We may also disclose information where we are required or authorised to do so by law.

Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls on our booking and ordering accounts and encrypted connections to this website.

We keep booking and order information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then for as long as required by Australian tax and business records law — generally seven years for transaction records. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry emails are kept for up to two years. Information we no longer need is deleted or de-identified.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before we release information. In limited circumstances we may refuse access — if we do, we will tell you why in writing.

You can also ask us to delete your information, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first using the details below so we can try to put it right. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or to the law. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
